Accounting Advisory Board
The purpose of the Accounting Advisory Board is to strengthen the educational offerings and resources of the Department of Accounting. Through experience, advice, and financial support; the Board serves as a vital link between the Department and the accounting profession to aid the needs of students, faculty and staff, alumni, and the business community.
Mission
The board’s mission is to advise and assist the Department of Accounting by:
- Providing strategic planning and expert advice on curricular development.
- Providing guidance related to recruiting, internships, practicums, and student placement.
- Serving as a liaison between accounting professionals and our faculty.
- Ensuring that our initiatives are informed by best practices and reflect the needs of the individuals and organizations they serve.
