Advising

The Office of Undergraduate Programs is dedicated to helping our students succeed here at NC State.  All undergraduate students in the Poole College of Management are assigned to a professional advisor based on their last name.  All of our advisors are professionally trained to assist in planning each student’s academic career at NC State.  Working with their advisor will help ensure that students have taken all the appropriate steps in planning their courses, as well as provide them with support and assistance to assure academic success.

Poole Advising Mission Statement

Advising empowers students to be independent thinkers and global leaders in the business community.  Academic advising guides students, through a system of challenge and support, during their entire academic career to make choices in course selection and out-of-classroom experiences to achieve their post-graduate goals.  We seek to do this through a collaborative mentoring relationship with shared advisor/student responsibility.
