Our team is dedicated to student success. All of our advisors have a master's or higher degree and are professionally trained to help design each student’s academic career at NC State.

Drop-In Hours

Drop-in advising is reserved for quick, time-sensitive questions (5–10 minutes). For in-depth support or broader academic planning, please schedule a 30-minute appointment.

Poole College of Management students are encouraged to email questions to the Poole Advising Team at [email protected]. Our response time is 2-3 business days. Response times may be longer during the first week of classes and peak registration season. To ensure the fastest possible response, please note that sending additional follow-up emails will place your message at the bottom of our inbox.  

Appointments

Poole College of Management majors can make an appointment with an advisor. Appointments are used for more in-depth questions, long-term degree planning, or deeper conversations and are scheduled for 30 minutes. Students can use the Student Success Navigate system to make these appointments at go.ncsu.edu/navigate.

Virtual Advising Guidelines:

No Driving: For your safety, do not log in for your advising appointment while driving your car.

Limit Distractions: For your privacy, find a quiet place to log in for your advising appointment. This includes finding a place to sit, walking around campus is not advised.

Be Presentable: Check your surroundings and make sure you are fully dressed for your advising appointment.

Technology: We recommend that you utilize a computer instead of mobile devices, and secure a strong and stable internet connection.
