Alexander Hamilton Scholars Program

The Alexander Hamilton Scholars Program is a dual degree program at North Carolina State University in which students earn a degree from both the Poole College of Management and the College of Humanities and Social Sciences. Hamilton Scholars are a select group of highly motivated students who wish to have a career in the international business world. Hamilton Scholars is primarily an academic program in which the participants focus on completing all of the requirements for the two different degrees. However, the program also provides student activities outside the classroom.

Hamilton Scholars complete a major in Accounting, Business Administration or Economics within the Poole College of Management, whilst also pursuing an additional Bachelor of Arts degree in International Studies within the College of Humanities and Social Sciences. Hamilton Scholars expand their knowledge in a foriegn language and continue to pursue their international interests with a study abroad program. 

The purpose of the dual degree program is to produce well rounded business professionals who are knowledgeable about international issues and have skills to function successfully in cross cultural settings.  In an ever-increasing global economy and interconnected business world, Hamilton Scholar graduates emerge as highly qualified and competitive individuals.
