Bio

As Director of IT at Poole College of Management, Phil Young focuses on building strong partnerships between technology and the people it serves. He works across teams to deliver IT solutions that support teaching, research, operations, and the student experience. Before joining NC State, he served as Director of ResNET at UNC-Chapel Hill, managing student-focused IT services, infrastructure projects, and digital innovation within Carolina Housing.

Phil is also a proud 2023 graduate of Poole’s Jenkins MBA program and is looking forward to making an impact for others the way Poole impacted him.
