Bio

Jill Willett is the Assistant Director of High-Impact Experiences at NC State’s Poole College of Management, where she designs, launches, and leads programs that connect classroom learning with meaningful, real-world experiences. A self-described program architect, Jill loves taking an idea from “what if?” to “let’s make this happen,” building experiences that help students develop confidence, career-ready skills, and a clearer sense of what they’re capable of.

Jill brings an eclectic mix of experience spanning entrepreneurship, business, coaching, teaching, and higher education. She has founded two companies, spent a decade in sales and marketing leadership, and held teaching and student-facing roles at NC State, UNC, and Duke. That mix of experience now informs her work across Poole’s high-impact programs, including the Sales Excellence Certificate.

Across all of those chapters, one thing has remained constant: Jill believes people learn best by doing, especially when they’re solving real problems alongside others. She is passionate about experiential learning, career readiness, and creating opportunities that help students connect what they’re learning to where they want to go next.
