Gwyn Howard

Bio

Gwyneth (Gwyn) Howard currently serves as an Academic Advisor within the Poole College of Management Office of Undergraduate Programs at NC State University. She joined us upon completion of her Master degree in Higher Education Student Affairs from Western Carolina University. Prior to this, she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology, with minors in history and communications, from Ohio University. Gwyn is also a member of Alpha Omicron Pi Fraternity, Inc. She has a passion for holistic student support and equity in higher education. She brings her experience serving greek affiliated students, student athletes, first generation, low income background, neurodiverse and LGBTQIA+ students to the team. In her free time, she enjoys her rescue dog Teddy, tending to her plants, enjoying anime and manga, pursuing her special interests and making memories!
