Mr. Robert Sandruck, Director

Mr. Sandruck joined the Poole College of Management at NC State University in December 2010 as the first full-time Director of Global Programs. In this role, Rob has created a portfolio of international programs allowing students to pursue management education within a global context. In this role, he works with students to help them develop a broader worldview and an understanding of how this impacts their careers. Prior to joining the Poole College of Management, Rob worked at Duke University where he served as the Director of the Executive MBA Programs. Rob has worked at a variety of colleges and universities in student service, academic affairs, and international education. He has a Master of Education from the University of South Carolina and a Bachelor of Economics from Towson University. He is married to Dr. Audrey Jaeger, a professor at NC State. He is also a proud father of two girls who both study French and share his passion for cooking and traveling the world.

Ms. Katelyn Brown-Gomez, Assistant Director

Katelyn Brown-Gomez joined the Global Programs team in the Poole College of Management in April 2023. Katelyn received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. Katelyn worked at the UNC Study Abroad Office for 6 years before joining the Wolfpack in 2022. Katelyn also became a parent in 2022 and has spent much of her personal time helping her favorite new person feel safe, learn new skills, and understand this new big world. When Katelyn has time, she enjoys exploring new watercolor techniques, digging in her garden, and hiking in the woods.

Ms. Olivia Slack, Program Coordinator (GA)

Olivia Slack joined the Global Programs team in the Poole College of Management in August 2023. Olivia graduated from Meredith College with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Environmental Sustainability and with minors in English and creative writing. As an undergraduate, she studied abroad for a semester in Italy. Following graduation, Olivia spent a year working at Meredith’s Office of International Programs, helping to both send students abroad and welcome incoming international students. Olivia is currently in the Master of International Studies program at NC State. In her free time, she enjoys reading and writing fiction, spending time with her cats, and experiencing new places and cultures.

Ms. Emma Plum, Program Assistant (GA)

Emma Plum joined the Global Programs team in the Poole College of Management in August 2024. Emma is originally from the Chicago area and graduated from Iowa State University with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing with minors in French, Management, and Apparel Merchandising & Design. Following her graduation in 2022, Emma spent two years working for her sorority, Alpha Delta Pi, traveling the United States and supporting students on over 40 college campuses. She is currently pursuing her Master’s in Higher Education Administration at NC State, and enjoys running, cooking, going to concerts, and trying new restaurants in her free time.

Ms. Hannah Saad, Program Coordinator (GA)

Hannah Saad joined the Global Programs team in the Poole College of Management in August 2024. Hannah is originally from Atlanta, Georgia and graduated from the College of William & Mary with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing and Hispanic Studies. As an undergraduate, Hannah studied abroad in Spain, Gibraltar, and Argentina and credits each of these experiences for fostering her passion for international education. She is currently pursuing her Master’s in Higher Education Administration at NC State. In her free time, Hannah enjoys making art, watching theater performances, and exploring new places.
