Hamid Firooz
Bio
Hamid Firooz is an Assistant Professor of Economics at North Carolina State University. Prior to this appointment, he served as a Visiting Fellow (Senior Economist) at the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco and held faculty positions at the University of Rochester and the University of Florida. His research interests include International Economics, Market Power, Macro-Labor and Firm Dynamics. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Pennsylvania State University, as well as an M.Sc. in Economics and a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from Sharif University of Technology, Iran.
