Meet the Advising Team
Our advising team is dedicated to helping our students succeed here at NC State. All of our advisors have a master's or higher degree and are professionally trained to assist in designing each student’s academic career at NC State.
Drop-In Hours
- In-person drop-in hours are held Monday through Thursday (1-3 p.m.) in Nelson 2150.
- This drop-in is for current Poole majors only.
- Virtual Drop-in Advising Mondays and Thursdays 1-3 p.m.
- There will not be Drop-in Advising (in-person or virtual) on Monday, April 29.
Poole College of Management students are encouraged to email questions to the Poole Advising Team at poole_advising@ncsu.edu.
Appointments
Poole College of Management majors can make an appointment with an advisor. Appointments are used for more in-depth questions, long-term degree planning, or deeper conversations and are scheduled for 30 minutes. Students can use the Student Success Navigate system to make these appointments at go.ncsu.edu/navigate.

Summer and Fall 2024
- Students received an email with the subject “Instructions for Removing Your Advising Hold (Summer and Fall 2024 Registration” during the second week of October. Search your inbox for this email if you have additional questions.
