Bio

Megan joins Poole College of Management’s Undergraduate Career Center as a Career Coach, bringing a dynamic background in Human Resources and Talent Acquisition. Megan has a successful track record in clinical research, higher education, and consulting; therefore, she blends industry insights with practical expertise to support students and professionals alike. Throughout her diverse career, she has collaborated with global teams to lead talent development initiatives, shape recruitment strategies, and design impactful onboarding programs. As a former Professional Development Instructor at William Peace University, Megan has refined her skills in career planning, resume optimization, interview preparation, and networking, offering tailored guidance that empowers individuals at every stage of their professional journey.

Megan holds a Graduate Certificate in Business from Meredith College’s John E. Weems Graduate School and a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Peace College (William Peace University). Passionate about helping others realize their full potential, she leverages her extensive HR expertise to provide strategic advice and support. Whether assisting with job search strategies or guiding through complex career transitions, Megan is dedicated to equipping individuals with the tools, resources, and encouragement needed for success.

In her spare time, Megan is deeply committed to her community as an active enrolled member of the Lumbee Tribe of North Carolina, always finding ways to connect and give back to her Indigenous culture. She and her wife also dedicate their time to volunteering with local animal rescues, having fostered and found loving homes for more than 70 dogs.
