Angel Barron-Rueda
Bio
Angel currently serves as a Graduate Assistant for Academic Advising within Poole College of Management Office of Undergraduate Programs.
Currently, Angel is a graduate student in the Master’s of Education in High Education Administration Program at NC State. Angel graduated from NC State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Education Studies. Prior to arriving at NC State, he earned his Associates of Arts & Sciences from Camp Community College in Virginia.
During his undergraduate career, Angel was an active advocate for international education, promoting study abroad opportunities with Poole Global, PackAbroad ambassadors, and the College of Education Global Programs. He also studied abroad in Leeds, United Kingdom, Reutlingen, Germany, Madrid, Spain and completed an International Internship in Seville, Spain. Angel also has experienced working with University Housing, Study Abroad Office and Greek Life – Fraternity & Sorority Life.
Angel’s area of focus include academic advising, study abroad, international student support and first year engagement.
