Brittney Yetter
Bio
As a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor, Brittney Yetter has a myriad of experiences working with concerns such as stress management, anxiety, depression, communication, relationships, grief and cultural concerns.
As embedded counselor, Yetter is a part of a university-wide initiative to expand the reach of the Counseling Center and implement more effective mental health resources in the NC State community. She adheres to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Acceptance Commitment Therapy based therapeutic approach with a primary focus tailored to the needs of students.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Philosophy from East Carolina University as well as a Master of Science in Counseling with a concentration in Clinical Mental Health from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Her passion for working with students in higher education began during a counseling internship in an on-campus setting.
