Bio
Pieter Verhallen joins Poole College from the Netherlands and brings expertise in marketing, specifically consumer behavior and behavioral science, built on a foundation of psychology and entrepreneurship. His research involves partnerships with public and private organizations in both Europe and the United States with whom he conducts qualitative and quantitative studies in the area of social norm interventions specifically, and behavioral change more generally.
Prior to entering academia, Verhallen founded, managed, sold and supported various digital and fast-moving consumer goods startups conducting business with stakeholders in over 70 countries. He has served on the boards of a number of social enterprises and – at the intersection of business and academia – has been passionately coaching international business case competition teams to finalist placements around the world.
