Toyette Sullivan
Bio
Ms. Toyette Sullivan currently serves as an Associate Director of Advising Programs within the Poole College of Management Office of Undergraduate Programs at NC State University. Ms. Sullivan loves working with students, meeting them where they are and advocating for them to go even further, reaching their ultimate goal.
Ms. Sullivan has over 15 years of experience working within Academic Advising. She has had the opportunity to work in private, community college and public university settings. Most recently, Ms. Sullivan served as Academic and Transfer Advisor as well as a Life and Engagement Coach for faculty, staff and students at Anne Arundel Community College in Arnold, Maryland. Life coaching provides an additional opportunity for Ms. Sullivan to connect to her college community and connect naturally to her core values: ally, family, community.
Ms. Sullivan began her college studies as an elementary education major at Central State University, a Historically Black College University located in Ohio. She completed her Master of Arts in Student Affairs Administration at Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio and most recently received a certificate in Life & Engagement Coaching at Anne Arundel Community College.
In her spare time, Ms. Sullivan enjoys reading, traveling, fine dining and spending time with her favorite people, which includes her two teenage children, other family members and close friends.
