Tyler Wiersma

Bio

Tyler Wiersma (werz-muh) currently serves as the Director of High-Impact Experiences for the Poole College of Management, where he develops and expands high-impact experience opportunities to empower students for a lifetime of holistic success.

Tyler brings a decade of higher education experience to the role; the past six years of which were spent leading undergraduate professional development initiatives in the Bryan School of Business and Economics at UNC Greensboro. During this time, he established Bryan Gold, a gamified career readiness challenge, and the Blueprint Series, a required 4-credit course cluster designed to accelerate students’ personal and professional development. In addition to his higher education experience, Tyler consults with organizations to help them bridge generational divides, and has also been a project manager at a tech startup within a business incubator.

Tyler is a pet parent to two dogs and two cats, a word game enthusiast, and a hopeless/helpless Cleveland sports fan.
