The aim of the PDMA Doctoral Consortium is to enhance the development of doctoral students conducting dissertation research in the broad domain of innovation management and new product development. During this event, doctoral students will have the opportunity to interact with and receive guidance from invited faculty on conducting impactful research and being successful members of the academy. Networking with faculty, JPIM Editors and other students will be fostered.

Eligibility
The PDMA Doctoral Consortium welcomes applications from doctoral students across the globe conducting research related to innovation management or new product development from any relevant theoretical perspective and methodology. Preference will be given to students who have completed at least two years of doctoral study as of Summer 2026. We expect to accept approximately 25 students for this consortium with a similar number of faculty mentors.
There is no registration fee for the selected doctoral fellows – meals, housing and local transportation will be provided. Students will only need to cover their transportation costs to and from the consortium.
