Allison Smith

Bio

Allison currently serves as the Student Engagement Programs Coordinator. In her role, she supports the various student organizations within the college and serves as the advisor for Poole Council. Her primary responsibilities include overseeing Poole Packways, coordinating signature Poole events such as Poole Party and Wellness Week, and organizing other undergraduate student activities throughout the year.

Prior to coming to NC State, Allison served as a User Experience Project Manager for Lenovo’s global website on their User Experience team. She has also held sales roles at SpokeHub and Paychex.

Allison is working toward her M.Ed. in College Counseling and Student Development at NC State to continue her passion of working with college students.

If she isn’t working with a student group you can find her cheering on the Carolina Hurricanes or spending time with her husband, son and dog, Jeter.
