Bio
Mehmet Caner, Ph.D., joined NC State from Ohio State University where he was a professor in the Department of Economics from 2015 to 2019.
His field of specialization is econometrics and research interests in empirical international finance. Caner is also currently the associate editor of the Journal of Econometrics, Journal of Business and Economics Statistics, Econometric Reviews, and Studies in Nonlinear Dynamics and Econometrics. His recent research has revolved around high dimensional econometrics testing. He has also received research awards from NC State and the University of Pittsburgh.
