Hosted by Poole College’s Accounting Department and the Jenkins MAC Program, the Accounting Networking Night and Summer Conference Fair is an opportunity where employers will share information about the accounting profession, employment opportunities within their organization, and provide details about their summer leadership conferences. High performing undergraduate and MAC students eager to learn about careers in accounting are encouraged to attend as many of the interactions at this event lead to opportunities!

What to bring:
● 12-15 copies of your resume. We strongly recommend that they be reviewed by a Career Development Coach/ professional prior to this event.
● A padfolio and pen to take notes, collect contact information, brochures and hold resumes.

How to prepare:
● Come with positive energy and readiness to engage with employers.
● Develop a 30 second introduction/ elevator pitch to make a good first impression
● Research employers and prepare insightful questions to ask professionals at the event.
● Familiarize yourself with ePACK (NC State students only), as this is the system most employers will use to post their job opportunities at NC State University.
● Participate in the virtual The Student Prep Workshop on January 29th and learn how to make the most of the event.
