The Poole College of Management encourages you to become actively involved in some of the many clubs and organizations affiliated with the College. Your involvement in these organizations can help you gain experience in teamwork, leadership, organization, fundraising, finance and community service.
You’ll meet other students with similar interests and have opportunities to work with faculty mentors and business leaders in your community. You’ll also have the opportunity to travel to state and national events through these organizations, where you’ll develop important relationships that will serve you well in your career.
Get involved, get connected and take advantage of all the opportunities available to active club members. Make a difference in your community!
Recruiting New Members – the Poole Party!
Each semester most student organizations hold information sessions and recruit new members by participating in the Poole Party. At the Poole Party, students can drop in and chat with representatives from more than 25 student organizations to find out more about what each student organization focuses on and how to join.
This fall, the Poole Party will be held virtually on Wednesday, August 26th from 12 pm-2 pm. To join, please download the Career Fair Plus app (https://www.careerfairplus.com/), link to NC State, and then look for the “Fall 2020 Virtual Poole Party.” This is the link you’ll use on the 26th. The list of organizations attending is already available.
On the 26th, simply open the Career Fair Plus app, and link to the organization(s) you want to visit. You will be able to talk to representatives from each organization. For more questions about the Poole Party, please contact Dr. Leigh Shamblin, email@example.com.
