CAT is great for marketing, finance, and supply chain concentration students. In the local area they have the corporate office in Cary (marketing), manufacturing facilities in Sanford and Clayton (supply chain), and a whole division dedicated to corporate finance (not in NC). The local manufacturing plants are frequently looking for supply chain professionals and manufacturing managers, and the Cary office recently posted several marketing full-time jobs.
Post-internship, they have rotational programs for leadership development, marketing, and field-sales support. They all require complete geographical flexibility upon completion of training. Otherwise, they have openings all the time throughout their major hubs in the US (TX, IA, and NC) but those positions need to be filled shortly after they are posted. It is a global company so there are many overseas offices and manufacturing facilities that could be opportunities for anyone interested in travel or working outside of the US.
