Mission

Help administrators enhance the student experience through immersive real-world opportunities such as more practicums and internships, regular mentoring and other career-preparation initiatives.

Members

The board consists of 20 undergraduate students who give feedback on how Poole moves forward with initiatives to remain vibrant and competitive in the changing higher education landscape. Membership on the advisory board provides students with valuable leadership opportunities that could help them as they start their careers.

Jon Pogatchnik, Vice President

Joshua Kelley

Internship: Plan to do an internship in Seville, Spain, during the 2026 summer through the Poole internship abroad program.

Outside of Class: Enjoys exercising and weightlifting, watching movies, snowboarding, hunting and fishing, and traveling the world.

Future Plans: I plan to successfully obtain my Finance degree from N.C. State and pursue a career of financial advising. I also hope to become a real estate investor along side my finance career.

Gladys Taylor

Internship: This past summer I interned at SAS as a strategic sourcing intern. I helped work on dashboards to present SAS’ procurement analytics.

Outside of Class: I love to draw and rollerskate!

Future Plans: In the future I plan to become a data analyst in the finance or procurment departments at SAS.
